The Kunsthalle Messmer in Riegel is a private art museum operated as a foundation, initiated by Jürgen A.Messmer.
His great passion for art motivated the former manufactor of exclusive writing utensils (Messmer Pen, Emmendingen) to open the exhibition with the aim of making art and design accessible to the public.
